Wow! What a journey it has been for Anouska Knight: mother, wife, cake baker, competition winner and now Mills & Boon author! In January 2013, Anouska happened to see ITV’s Lorraine Kelly announce Mills & Boon’s search for the next big thing in contemporary women’s fiction. She sent in her 1,000 words and beat over 2,000 entries. She won the competition live on national TV on Valentine’s Day, and now she is a published author.

Away from the ITV sofa, Anouska lives in Rugeley, Staffordshire with husband Jim, her childhood sweetheart and their two young boys. When she’s not writing she’s still often found baking and will whip up cake a cake in an instant if asked nicely.
