At the start of each book you do get a small recap which i like to read you can read as s standalone book if you want to . I liked that a the front of this book you got a map of the village of Lipton and you also get the Hopkins family tree which was nice to see . At the back Jenny as always adds some fantastic recipes for Christmas things i like she does that in each book.
