Photo: BISHOP STREET BY RENE SCULTZ A FAB BOOK YOU GOT TO READ THIS BOOK IS FREE FOR 5 DAYS Bishop Street is a heart-wrenching, tear jerking story of survival, friendship, and second chances. You may need a tissue This story so sad but it turns into a beautiful story Margaret Gray for the past twenty years has hidden behind a facade of normalcy. She wasn’t always rich and famous. At the age of seven her mother abandons her on the steps of the Bishop Street Orphanage. Here, under the cruel tutelage of Sister Theresa, Maggie develops a powerful bond with her roommates, Elizabeth, Lucy, and Randolph. Their close friendship fortifies them against the years of abuse they help each other Now, Maggie is thirty-nine and her nightmares are back and she is unable to keep all that she has built from crumbling around her. It’s been twenty years since she’s heard from her friends she got to find them Why didn’t they answer her letters? Why didn’t they contact her? Had they survived… ? Or… had Sister Theresa deceived them with lies, aiming to destroy their friendship, forever? Why would she do that ? Sister Theresa is dead and with nothing left to fear or has she Maggie hires Damon Depre, a private investigator to find her friends, and seek the truth. This starts her down a twisted path that will once again, test her strength of character. Will Maggie find more than just her friends she got to be stronger now I was hooked from the first few pages it was interesting to see now history repeats itself To me the message of the book hope the book full of emotion each of the 4 characters have experienced loss of a warm family life they felt abandonment they share poverty , isolution , guilt and shame You could feel that bond they had the strong connection there shared the book a gem of a read i loved it another fab book This is free for 5 days http://goo.gl/HK9h3n
