BAH, HUMBUG! (A Romantic Comedy Christmas Novella)

Lexi Anderson is an up-and-coming, Martha Stewart-type TV hostess whose two kids love the Jared Strong adventure novels, which happen to be written by their new neighbor, Kyle Miller.

For the first time in his writing career, Kyle has writer’s block–until he sees the snowman on his lawn and realizes it’s the perfect solution to his plot problem. He digs in and discovers two things: one, his villain’s weapon will fit inside a snowman’s body, and two, this particular snowman was supposed to be the backdrop for Lexi’s next show.

From this improbable beginning comes friendship, but can there be a happy ending for a woman who is afraid to get close again and a man who has shadows from his childhood?

Families join together and hearts are healed as this couple goes walking in a winter wonderland.

It’s a novella of about 100 pages. The paperback version will be available soon.

This is a great feel good Christmas novella that although has a sad section makes you feel happy and in the Christmas spirit. I really enjoyed reading it and read it from beginning to end without a break.

Lexi Anderson is a TV host that has recently moved to Salt City from San Diego with her two children Trista and Steven. She is a single parent with no family to rely on as they all passed away.

Unknown to her their new neighbour is non other than the children’s favourite author, of the Jared Strong adventure books, Kyle Miller. Kyle Miller is however suffering from writers block and their first encounter is not a pleasant one. Kyle does not like Christmas and hates the fact that members of the neighbourhood are constantly putting novelty Christmas items in the garden. They always try to make him celebrate the season and he is always reluctant and tries his best to avoid his family. He has his reasons behind this and Lexi hopes she can help him through it.

What happens between Lexi and Kyle is heart-warming and the shared history that they have experienced I think helps to form a bond of understanding.

A must read prior to Christmas whilst cwthched (hugged) up with a blanket and a hot chocolate
