HELLO FROM THE GILLESPIES
BY
Monica McInereny:
THE BLURB
International number one bestseller Monica McInerney brings us a sparkling and hilarious new novel about the ups and downs of family life.

For the last thirty years, Angela Gillespie’s annual Christmas letter has been full of her family’s triumphs. But this year Angela surprises everyone, including herself – she tells the truth.

Angela’s husband is in the throes of a mid-life crisis. Her grown-up daughters are more out of control than ever. And her youngest child spends all of his time talking to an imaginary friend.

With fantasy thoughts of a life before marriage and motherhood becoming more than just an innocent daydream, Angela’s real life is slowly slipping out of focus.

But, as the repercussions of her ruthlessly honest letter begin to pile up, a shocking event takes Angela from her family, and she realises she should have been more careful of what she wished for. . .

WHAT I SAY

I have not read any of Monica books before i did enjoy this book so much very different.

Angela tired of her life she decided to write about it so she writes everything down that she unhappy about but this is only to help her she hopes it will make her feel better it only for her read no on else .

She did not notice she wrote in the christmas new letter template page .

One day her husband Nick tried to help by sending out her news letters he now sent it to all her friends and family

Now people are so mad at her can she sort it out i just want to help her she was so upset by it all the story line very good

The story so good it just hooks you into the plot the story got love , anger , jealousy and friendships it about people being took for granted we should talk to each other more .we do not seem to do that now the kids text what for tea sometimes it so bad

This family did talk much to each other

Their 10 year old son was not very stetted in school he got a imaginary friend

The twins seem to have a few debts and both need a job she loved her children not matter what they did you have to read to see what they got up to . Angela stated to write about all the things she loved or hated at them and her friends she put all the good and bad points what happened when Nick sent that email

Some parts are funny some are not .some were very dramatic some of them hated her now each of the characters had so many different issue it was a interesting way to hear about the family

Nick loves all the family

The book deals with a lot of family issues depression is one of them i like the way this was dealt with we should all talk to are family members we should try to share how we feel are family love and support is so important the other topics this story deals we are celebrities . Gossip , internet scams , novelty web sites , fantasy life’s,amnesia they are all put across in a very good way

The book full of family dramas some are very shocking some of the characters will shock you to just how they are the plot very clever i want you to read it very good i loved that we get to hear all the families secrets .

The story told as a year goes by and so much happened in that year it got lots of twist and turns . You get to hear a lot of whole truths at each turn something was going on . You just get pulled into the plot

A lots of research has gone into this book

It a very nice read
