THE BLURB
…
Sophie Wells is a successful photographer with a focus on putting the past firmly behind her. When Josh Strachan returns to the seaside town of Cornwall from the States to run his family’s hotel, he can’t understand why the fun, sexy girl has zero interest in letting him—or any man for that matter—into her life. He also can’t understand how he’s been duped into employing Sophie’s impulsive friend Tula, whose crush on him is decidedly unrequited. Both girls remain mum about the reasons behind Sophie’s indifference to love. But that doesn’t mean Josh is going to quit tryingWHAT I SAY
As the title saids that book is full of troubled romance it follows a lot of different characters all very different to each of but their stories all weave around each other so easily it not hard to follow . I was hooked from the start
Jill always seems to transport me in her books i there with them all
All the characters are very good we get to know them all so well they become your friends they were all so warm and likeable
The plot very light it fun to read i like the witty ness of it
Sophie the main character she so nice she lives in Cornwall in a lovely village it sounded so lovely i wanted to go there
She working very hard to build up her photograph business she seems to be doing well
I felt she been very hurt in her past
Tula her best friend she working in the hotel near her she a fun character she seems to be the only person that knows about Sophie past and her love life
Josh i like him so much he back onto the village to help run the hotel he seems to be falling for Sophie but why she playing hard to get ?
You got to read to see why
The basic story boy meets girl girl plays hard to get
All the characters seem to have a few secrets a few of them seem to have a few hidden depts to them what did you think ?
I like that they all had so different personalities but they all seemed to work together so well
Some parts were so funny
The plot very heartwarming and very emotional it packed with twists and turns
The ending was very predictable but that did not spoilt this wonderful read a fab book

Great review, AJ! I love chick flicks, so it’s hard to pick one, but Sleepless in Seattle and Dirty Dancing probably get top spots! Generally speaking, can’t go wrong with anything starring Tom Hanks or Hugh Grant haha and if it makes me cry, I love it all the more! Xx
The book sounds great, I love chick lit and chick films. My fav is ???? Maybe Legally Blonde.
