Obsessions in death by JD Robb
The blurb

A crisp winter morning in New York. In a luxury apartment, the body of a woman lies stretched out on a huge bed. On the wall above, the killer has left a message in bold black ink: FOR LIEUTENANT EVE DALLAS, WITH GREAT ADMIRATION AND UNDERSTANDING.

Eve Dallas is used to unwanted attention. Famous for her high-profile cases and her marriage to billionaire businessman Roarke, she has learned to deal with intense public scrutiny and media gossip. But now Eve has become the object of a singular and deadly obsession. She has an ‘admirer’, who just can’t stop thinking about her. Who is convinced they have a special bond. Who is planning to kill for her – again and again…

With time against her, Eve is forced to play a delicate – and dangerous – psychological dance. Because the killer is desperate for something Eve can never provide – approval. And once that becomes clear, Eve knows her own life will be at risk – along with those she cares about

Obsession in Death is the 40th book in the series, it’s the first that I’ve read by this author, although i have read lots of her books written as Nora Roberts, so when I was asked by Clara to take part in this 20th anniversary blog tour I say yes as i like nora other books

When Eve Dallas is called to the crime scene for the murder of a defense attorney that she’d fought against in court it becomes very clear that the killer is a fan of Eve’s he or she has decided to kill people in her honour but why ? .
she got no idea why or who it was At each scene he or she wrote her a note
soon there is another murder to deal with so it’s now a race against time for Eve and her team to figure out the identity of the killer before anyone else who has crossed Eve is killed. Can they work it out fast ?

The plot very good but i did not get the who is who as i had not read the other books the team work very hard on the case it was good to read

I like that each of the characters personality were very deep but as the plot when on they seem to be broken down a bit we got a lot of information about them all
I was trying to work who did but as i not read other books i had not idea on who the characters were or i did not know any thing about any of the past case and i did not know much about Eve pasted

Some of the futuristic technology lots me and the terminology just when over my head i got a bit lots in places i enjoyed reading but i get a bit mixed up in places i felt i need to read more of the books before to understand to plot more

But the storyline very good I enjoy it but i need to know more about the past of the characters

The writing style very easy to follow it a different crime book

i did like but i just want to know more about the past maybe at the start a bit about the characters past would have help me to follow this book better
Overall a ok read

it just not for me as some parts did not hold me but then other parts i was hook to see what happen next so that make it a good read I was just not so sure if i liked it or not but you may love it all

Thank you for letting me read clara at the little brown book company
