Aj book review club's photo.
THE BLURB
‘Modern-day Austen’ Red. Weddings, romance, humour and happy-ever-after endings. The deliciously romantic new novel from the No. 1 Sunday Timesbestselling author of Recipe for Love, A French Affair and The Perfect Match.

In a small Cotswold country town, Beth, Lindy and Rachel are looking for new beginnings.

So they set up in business, organising stylish and perfectly affordable vintage weddings.

Soon they are busy arranging other people’s Big Days.

What none of them know is that their own romances lie waiting, just around the corner

WHAT I SAY

I do love Katie ‘s books do you? I loved this one the cover just perfect for the book it just grabbed my attention straight away and the story hooked by the first page

The three main characters are lyndy,Beth and Racheal are all in a rut . They need to bring in so cash

I like that each one of them had different skills and interest they begin a new business vintage wedding they can do lovely wedding on a low budget

I enjoyed hearing about all the weddings they were Planning

The girls live in a very rural village the community seem so warm they worked together so well .The girls meet by chance at the village hall they needed to secure the village hall by doing some fundraising to do the hall up

Rachael a bit of a control feak she seems have a few phobias she going through a thing in her life just now

Beth was my favourite she was in the village to sort her sister wedding out her mums was very overbearing she was a fun characters i just wanted to be Beth friend she such fun

Lindy a young single mum her boy’s are her world she fab at sewing how she changed the wedding dresses was just brilliant she was a lovely kind lady i wanted her to find a man

When the girls first met they seem to bring out the best in each other there life were not perfect but they all were happy they had there ups and downs just like we all do

You could see the man they were going to be with but it was fun reading about it just a nice romantic read

You could to grasp any opportunity that comes your way .The girls work so well together

Raff i loved him he was rough diamond very rough and ready kind of man he seem to know someone that could help most of the time he was just a nice person

Charlie was just perfect to he was the local heartthrob he was so cool

Finn arrived back in the village he hopes he could pick up were his love life was left before he when way can he do that ?

You will have see which girl like which guy Can you guess?

It was fun to read the book got a very strong community spirit you just wanted to be there i like the vintage tea set for the wedding i just enjoy the whole things i was one of them

It a nice romantic read there are a few hiccups it will make you smile i read in a day i enjoy it so much a great story to read the writing style is so easy to follow your pulled into the story

Just starting my B book – The Double Bind by Chris Bohjalian.
Looking forward to hearing what the next cover challenge will be, too (although I think my B book will take me a few days). 🙂
