I enjoy that the book was told from different point of view it was a clever way of doing it

The story also told from DI Ray Stevens point of view and his colleagues seeking justice for a mother who is living through every parents worst nightmare he seem to put his job on the line to seek this justice. Would you have done that too? Ray seem to find it hard to sort his life out he works to much he got have a happy balance between work and family life . I did feel he could never stop working .He such a great character i hope to hear more of him i just liked him so much . I hope he in more of Clare’s books

As the story unfolds we here more about Jenna’s new life and the police investigation. They both mix in so well the story got a lot of different twist and turns .It packed with compassion , violence, depression they all told so well it will just grip you into their story
