This book a very heartwarming read i did enjoy it .It will make you laugh the characters are so good and very believable some are so funny as you read it will pull on your heartstrings

It a story about love , friendship and family

Bobbie I really liked she seem a bit short of cash sometimes she was a person that like to or did scrim and save she was saving some cash for her brother Tim he needed a operation they hoped he could go privately

Bobbie did not seem very happy with her life she did not seem to have much of a life outside of work i felt she was stuck in her way a bit

Bobbie was a very close at one time to her boss Carol but she not any more we do get to hear why things were so hard for them they are so funny together they made me laugh so much

Carol could be bossy and mean at times she was a penny pinching person she so watch her money i not sure why she was not shot of money may be that why
Both characters had so much charm and humour they just work so well together

The book very much like a christmas carol . I just wanted them both to become friends again sometime it was a bit predictable but this did not put me off it a very well written book it a fast paced book to read a page turner

i just loved the friendship they had both were so different did they fall out over a man ? What did you think?
The story got a bit of romance in there to the story just keeps you on the edge all the time it a lovely christmas book a very enjoyable read all the characters are wonderful i loved all the humour in the book to it was a bit predictable at times but i enjoy it so much a fab read

Four Sides to Every Story by Valerie-Anne Baglietto

Four Sides to Every Story by Valerie-Anne Baglietto

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I loved it. It is such an easy read that allows you to think what if! Can there really be real fairy Godmothers? Can they influence who you love and try to cause a true relationship? This book allows your mind to wander and to think of the lovely fairy tales that you read and loved as a child.

Sawyer Ellis is a widower who is left caring for his two young step children Anthon and 8 year old Alexa. He lives in his past wives childhood home which is known as Fools Castle. He lives there with the second wife of his wives father she is called Veronique. Veronique has not left the castles grounds in many years and this can cause household issues. The set-up of this strange family living in the castle seems very unusual but adds to the interest.

The story starts with Maggy Kemball Renting out her cottage during the summer months to two young ladies. She is not supposed to rent out the house because she actually does not pay any rent on the property due to an old agreement with her and a late owner of the castle. The two ladies were not expecting either of the other to be in the property as well; at least that is what we are led to believe. However Lily, one of the ladies, is a fairy godmother and she has been set the task to get Sophie, the other renter, and Sawyer to fall in love and to live the happily ever after. Of course she is not allowed to relieve her magic powers and finds the task she has been set challenging. That is as much as I am going to say as I don’t want to give the story away.

The characters in the book are lovely and you can help liking them and even though you think why did you do that the story unravels to give the answer. I say I like them for one exception, Johnny, who I cannot bring myself to like as he has his own plans and does not mind who he hurts in the process. Or is he doing what he did so that true love can be found? That is for you to decide.

The book has some lovely twists and makes you think about true love and what you have. I am so pleased that I review books as it encourages me to try new authors and I have now found some great authors in lots of different genres. This is one of them and I will look out for more by Valerie-Anne Baglietto.

Bride Without A Groom by Amy Lynch

Kelly review

Rebecca Browne met the man of her dreams four years ago, but when Becky already has her wedding dress picked out and her honeymoon booked, she is sorely disappointed when her birthday present a diamond bracelet and not the engagement ring that she was expecting. Becky has her whole wedding planned, but the man of her dreams doesn’t want to commit. But has Becky’s obsession with tying the knot driven Barry away for good.

I was laughing at this book from the word go. My kindle was super-glued to my hand, because I just couldn’t put this book down. Filled with humour and a main character that you will fall in love with, this book is the perfect summer read. I loved everything about this book, from the cover to the very eccentric but loveable main character.

I liked how it jumped between the narrative of Rebecca and Barry. I love books where you get an insight into various characters, and Amy Lynch has done this beautifully in this book. Rebecca was the perfect character to spend a long rainy day with, but she is also perfect for a beach read. A book unlike any I’ve ever read before. My book of 2015 so far. I loved every single page.

5/5 stars

Thank you Kelly a lovely review

The perfect marriage.
A devastating secret.
An impossible choice.

Lucy was always sure of one thing – her future with husband and soulmate Luke. But after eight long, heartbreaking years trying to have a baby, that future is crumbling before her eyes.

When a terrible accident puts Luke into a coma, Lucy is forced to reassess everything she thought she wanted.

Then Stella arrives. A woman Lucy’s never met, but with a secret that will change her world forever

Pieces of You is a beautiful and moving read that had me hooked from the first few lines to the last word I couldn’t put it down until I knew what happened so glad i start very early in morning

The book tells the story of Lucy and Luke. They have been together for 8 years, and married for 5. It was clear from the start just how absolutely besotted they are with each other it was so nice to read The one thing missing for them is a much wanted baby. They have been trying for years, but each pregnancy has ended in miscarriage and heartbreak. It was so hard to read at times

Early on in the book we learn that Luke has had a terrible accident and has been left in a coma.Lucy faces more shock and heart ache now

This story follow Lucy and Luke’s story, We meet their best friends Dee and Dan, as well as Luke’s Mum, brother and sister.

I really liked Dee who I felt was very much Lucy’s best friend and would be there for her no matter what just like a friend should be
I struggled to warm to was Patricia that was Luke’s Mum. I found her quite cold and distant towards Lucy despite what she was going through. I want her to be warm and loving I know that as a Mum she must have been so worried and distraught to see her son so ill and she could do nothing to help him but i would i like to see more support for Lucy

Lucy was favourite character It is clear that the last few years have been just awful for her with all the miscarriage misery. My heart when out to her Now Luke has been in an accident and lies in a coma, leaving Lucy not knowing what the future holds. I loved the way she coped with things she just such a strong character I admired her so much

Each chapter follows a different character
This helps me to understand what was going on and how they all felt it was very emotional it deals with some very tough subject so well i packed with a few twists and turns too

This book is so beautifully written it a wonderful story of love, loss, forgiveness and acceptance. This book stay in my head long after they had read it i kept thinking about the story

I was hooked from the start it a page turner you get took on a roller coaster ride you will feel and see all different emotions love ,passion ,anger heartbreak and despair but the main you see is that not matter what life throws at us we should never gave up hope things can and will get better not matter what it a very emotional read very heartbreaking too

I can not praise this book enough you must read it

I not sure why is been on my TBR pile so long you must read it a brilliant book

Hell is empty and all the devils are here

An electrifying thriller for fans of Harlan Coben and Michael Connelly.

Forced into retirement because of ill-health, Commissario DomenicoMartelli is hired to investigate a disturbing murder.
The case brings him into conflict with his former colleagues and into confrontation with a cruel and elusive killer.
Set in the breathtaking Ligurian countryside, ACQUA MORTA will keep you guessing until the very last page.
This is the first book i have read by Adam it will not be the last it a very good crime book I really did enjoy it

Adam very good with his description I could see some of the British countryside he was describing so well in my mind he paints a very good imagine you picture it all and Italy sounded so lovely i was transported there i can see all the sights in my head i was so there with them
Martelli the main character he was just about to become a retired detective he was looking forward to it or was he ?
He was called to his last murder case or scene the way Adam descried it in a very shocking way it was very detailed a bit too much for me but very good you could see it all in your mind
From that point the plot swaps from Kent to Italy it was a very complex story i enjoy how the two were interwoven it work so will it will hook you
The ending was very dramatic i was on the edge of my seat reading it what did you think?

All the characters worked well together they seem so real to me i had no clue to who the killer were did you?
The paced of the book just right I enjoy all the twists and turns it hold my interest it was so well written it flowed so easy it became a page turn i got to know what was going to happen next
As i said before Adam done a brilliant job of describing the surrounding areas and scenes it plays a bit part in the story he will pull you into the scene you there with them he got a very unique style about him
It a very clever and interesting story i really did enjoy

A gunman is stalking the wards of a local hospital. He’s unidentified and dangerous, and has to be located. Urgently.

Police Firearms Officer Aden McCarthy is tasked with tracking him down. Still troubled by the shooting of a schoolboy, Aden is determined to make amends by finding the gunman – before it’s too late.

To psychologist Imogen, hospital should be a place of healing and safety – both for her, and her young niece who’s been recently admitted. She’s heard about the gunman, but he has little to do with her. Or has he?

As time ticks down, no one knows who the gunman’s next target will be. But he’s there. Hiding in plain sight. Far closer than anyone thinks

This book begins with the end this worked so well it will just hook you it a very dramatic start by going back you get to know the characters so well but i will say at the beginning they just name but soon get into the characters and you get to know them well

The book goes back 6 days and the day of the shooting it does jump a bit but you will get use to this it a very fast paced read it will keep you guessing i will say i did guess wrong did you ?

The scenes are told in so much detail you see and feel it all in your mind it so well written so gripping to read I enjoy the sub plots too

I liked all the characters they were very believable you will be one of them it so gripping to read about them all you just want to carry on reading to see what going on it a brilliant plot i loved all the twists i like how all the characters were interlink did you guess how ? Sometimes i did get a bit confused but then it just fell into place i did find the gunman so chilling it told very cleverly i really enjoy it a very good book I recommend you all read

One wedding. One curse? Disaster ever after…

A seven-years-bad-sex curse? Surely not! Yet something went wrong when rock singer Casey and drummer Alex got married on that beautiful yacht anchored off St Tropez in the south of France. Something went badly wrong. For even on their wedding night, the young couple discovers a complete and somewhat surprising inability to make love. Muddling through their honeymoon with a string of thin excuses for their predicament, the lovers defer finding a solution (and panicking) until the return to their home in London. After all, they married for life and to make rock music, not for the love of sex. Right?

But when they resume life as normal in London, all hell breaks loose. Increasingly frantic in their quest for release, the unhappy newlyweds embark on a string of hilarious and occasionally harmful antics that drives them, their band, and an assortment of random strangers to the brink of despair. But it ain’t over ‘til it’s over or, in this case… it ain’t over ‘til the newlyweds sing.
I was hooked i got to see what was going to happen next i loved all the humour and the witty ness i was laughing so much it would be a fabulous TV show or film i was so pulled into the story it became a page turner it a very fun light hearted read i loved it
Cassy and Alex were both fab characters they were in a band they seem to have a very happy life with a great sex life till they got married that was
There wedding day was so perfect on the coast of st Tropez on a beautiful yacht what more could they ask for ?
Then night something bad happened or I should say did not happen they could not have sex for some reason what was wrong ?

Why now ?

But what fun they had trying will they find the spark again soon ?

It will make you smile and laugh as this when on for months and months what happened that night?
I really felt for them but it shows you just what love is it not just sex it about spending time together sharing things
My heart when out them they just made me smile at all the anticipation and actions just to have sex
All the characters were great fun they seem so real to me
I loved Nicky writhing style I really can’t put this book down i was hooked to see what could go wrong next a great look at a very different subject to write about it told in a lovely way you got to read it fab
A great summer read
