Aj book review club's photo.      STILL WATER RISING BY STEENE HOLMES

I really did enjoy this book it was a terrific read i was hooked to find what was going to happen next it all about the aftermath of a elementary school shooting massacre and the effect it had on a the community of Stillwater bay
It such a emotional story of love, grief, loss and friendships
It all about the community trying to pull together it show the us lots of kindness, bravery and healing that the community face it was told so sensitivity but I would of liked to know more about the people that die that day

The main character are Jenn the mum of Bobby that die in the shooting and her best friend Charlotte she was the town major and the wife of the school principal.Their friendship is push to the limit
Both seem to cope so differently
Julie the mum of Gabe the boy that killed 12 people before he shot himself the town seem to turn again her she got to leave
The attitudes, grief, and relaxation were told so sensuality i really felt for them all

The bombshell at the end was brilliant WOW i hope there a follow on i got to check it out i want to hear more
It was a very interesting story of the events and the aftermath it a good i liked all the view points of the events it was a hard topic to write about but it was done so sensitively
